Shintaro Sakamoto Shares Live In-Studio Performance Video for “Is There a Place for You There?”
Latest single from the upcoming album Yoo-Hoo, due January 23, 2026 via Zelone Records / Secretly Distribution

Today, Shintaro Sakamoto has shared a live in-studio performance video for his latest single, “Is There A Place For You There?”, which premiered yesterday via Post-Trash, directed by Yasuyuki Yamaguchi. The recording took place last month at Peace Music studio in Tokyo, where Sakamoto recorded his upcoming LP Yoo-hoo, due January 23, 2026 release via Zelone Records. Performed by the Shintaro Sakamoto Band – Shintaro Sakamoto (Vocal & Guitar), AYA (Bass), Yuta Suganuma (Drums), Tetsu Nishiuchi (Flute) – with the recording engineered by Soichiro Nakamura, this in-studio version is exclusive to this video release. “Is There A Place For You There?” was featured last week as a KCRW ‘Today’s Top Tune’. Written and produced by Sakamoto, “Is There A Place For You There?” blends nostalgic Showa-era pop influences with dub-infused production, featuring lyrics that capture the spirit of today through Sakamoto’s unique perspective—showcasing his signature style in full. Watch + share the live in-studio performance video via YouTube.
